A judge linked 10 detainees to the process after the acts of violence that occurred on July 12 in Topilejo, the Tlalpan mayor’s office, in the south of Mexico City. The men were arrested after a confrontation between police from the Secretariat of Citizen Security of the country’s capital and armed civilians. The Secretary of Citizen Security of Mexico City, Omar García Harfuch, spoke with CNN about this operation and the security strategy in the country’s capital. García Harfuch also accepts that there are drug trafficking cells in Mexico City, which his predecessors would have denied.
