Olivia Newton-John battled breast cancer for 30 years and this week the disease claimed her life. “Each cancer is so different, that each woman is a world,” says Dr. Elmer Huerta. For this reason, he assures, it is very difficult to make a heterogeneous diagnosis. Although breast cancer affects Hispanic women less in the United States, there is a higher mortality rate in them.
