Vehicles belonging to an advance party belonging to the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, were seized and shot at this Wednesday in the department of Norte de Santander, which borders Venezuela. This was reported by the Colombian government in a statement, where it was added that the vehicles were heading to join Petro’s caravan when the attack occurred.
