US warns of shortage of medicine to treat ADHD | Video

“If a medicine that they use for symptoms is really essential and it’s not available, maybe we’ll make a short-term change that changes some of the requirements,” says Benjamin Fields, a pediatric psychologist. Fields says this after the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced there could be a shortage of Adderall, a medicine prescribed to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
