(CNN Spanish) — More than a week after the collapse at the Sabinas mine, in the state of Coahuila in Mexico, rescue groups continue their work to find the ten miners who were trapped.

As reported by the authorities on Friday, at this time there are already better conditions to locate them and attempt the rescue.

“Now we can enter the three galleries and have the necessary resources ready to begin search and rescue efforts,” Laura Velázquez, national coordinator of Civil Protection in Mexico, said at a press conference.
