The former attorney of El Salvador David Morales assured that the exceptional regime is unconstitutional since it was approved the first time. The Salvadoran government affirms that the emergency regime and the territorial control plan, approved for the first time on March 27, are producing results. The country’s Minister of Justice and Public Security, Gustavo Villatoro, has said that, according to his data, El Salvador has passed more than 170 days without homicides and is on its way to being the safest country in Latin America.
