Faced with the possibility that Tropical Storm Fiona could become a hurricane, the government of Puerto Rico stated that it was prepared for the emergency. Pedro Pierluisi, governor of the entity, said that they have “the emergency reserve available to respond quickly,” while some citizens fearfully remember the arrival of Hurricane Maria five years ago.
