
Opposition boo Pedro Castillo at the end of his speech in Congress
Pedro Castillo celebrated this Thursday a year as president of Peru. The president gave his message to the Nation from Congress, amid criticism of his management. In the streets, protests were registered by groups calling for the president’s resignation, and also by those who support his administration. Castillo spoke of the fact that he will appear before the justice system to clarify the crimes he is accused of in five open investigations against him and also said that he will seek to work hand in hand with the opposition. At the end of the speech he was booed by the opposition.
