The new educational plan that the Ministry of Public Education of Mexico will test from October is an “external reform and strange to the classrooms” because “there is no decisive participation of teachers,” says Hugo Aboites, research professor at the Department of Education and Communication of the Autonomous Metropolitan University Xochimilco Unit. The specialist spoke on CNN about the pilot program that the Mexican government seeks to implement regarding the return to face-to-face classes of more than 24 million primary and secondary students.
