
Mother searching for the disappeared is murdered in Sinaloa
In Mexico, the governor of Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha Moya, confirmed the murder of Rosario Rodríguez Barraza, a member of a group of mothers who track down missing persons. The Sinaloan governor regretted the crime and reported on his Twitter account that measures will be taken to achieve a thorough investigation that will lead to locating the culprits. Later, the Sinaloa Attorney General’s Office reported in a statement that it opened an investigation folder for the crime of femicide against Rodríguez.
