
LIVE: NASA’s DART mission collides with an asteroid
A spacecraft from NASA’s DART mission deliberately crashes into an asteroid and you can see it live. The DART, or Double Asteroid Redirection Test, mission will have an encounter with the space rock 10 months after its launch.
The event will be the agency’s first large-scale demonstration of asteroid deflection technology that can protect the planet.
