Iván Duque talks about Colombian sovereignty
Some Nicaraguan media have reported that the government of Gustavo Petro is negotiating with his counterpart, Daniel Ortega, to cede certain Colombian territories to Nicaragua in exchange for the release of political prisoners. Former President Iván Duque Márquez, in an interview with Camilo, deeply expressed his rejection and commented that “Colombia could not cede its sovereignty, much less to a dictatorship that with infamies, with opprobrium, is subjugating an entire people.”
