Impunity is an invitation to continue doing so, says Aristegui on violence against journalists in Mexico
Mexico is one of the most dangerous countries in which to practice journalism: so far this year, 14 journalists have been murdered, according to a count by non-governmental organizations such as Article 19, Reporters Without Borders (RSF), the Committee for the Protection of Journalists (CPJ) and a CNN follow-up. Carmen Aristegui, journalist and CNN presenter, talks about this harsh reality that communicators face in Mexican lands.
