The attorney general of Guanajuato, Carlos Zamarripa Aguirre, reported that the six women who had been reported missing at the beginning of the month in the municipality of Celaya were murdered. The remains of five of the six victims were found burned in the municipality of Juventino Rosas, where they were taken by a criminal group, Zamarripa said. He added that five “genetic profiles” corresponding to the disappeared have already been established.
