Could the Mexican government prevent the accident at the coal mine in Coahuila?

In several regions of Mexico, workers in the mining sector work in precarious conditions, and that is why activists and analysts have demanded stricter regulation from the authorities. The most tragic case of its kind occurred in February 2006 at the Pasta de Conchos mine, where 65 miners were trapped after an explosion and could not be rescued.
