
70 years without Eva Perón: day of tributes and protests in Argentina
It is the 70th anniversary of the death of Eva Duarte de Perón, better known as “Evita”, a figure who marked a before and after in Argentine political history. During the various tributes held in the country, Ignacio Grimaldi toured the center of Buenos Aires where the so-called “torch march” was called in tribute to the former first lady and protesting the economic situation in the country.
